It's no secret that I hate cleaning my house. I am not ashamed to admit that I will happily fork over $100.00 a pop to the two very-capable mexican ladies that scrub my house from top to bottom every week. However, they could not come yesterday, so I issued myself the challenge of cleaning my house myself, and even publically stated I was going to post "before" and "after" pictures to ensure I really did it. Here are my results:
The Bedroom "Before." Ok, I must admit it was pretty painful having to actually upload these, but I am just gonna close my eyes and post them....
And, here is the magic transformation! I even cleaned the carpet and dusted everything! Wow!
My bathroom (well, technically it's Eric's bathroom, too, but as you can see, it's more my domain!) Here it is "Before" (it doesnt look THAT bad, but trust me... it was!)
** Mikey took this picture and I think the look on my face is pretty funny. I was not to thrilled to clean it!
Our bathroom "After"... much better!
I do love, love, love this bathtub! Its my favorite part the house! One of these days Eric is going to hang a pink chandelier over the tub (You cant tell in the pic, but the bathroom has vaulted ceilings.)
This has nothing to do with my cleaning, but aren't my bathroom decorations too cute!?!
Our Closet. Again, pictures don't do this mess justice. It was really bad!

Yes, my husband givess me lots of cards and stuffed animals and other fun stuff, and my closet is decorated with it.
